Essential Buenos Aires

Often referred to as the Paris of South America, Buenos Aires is a cosmopolitan capital, rich in history and designed around beautiful historical squares. The city also has a thriving artistic and literary tradition and is home to the fabulous tango.

Brief Itinerary:

Day 1 – Buenos Aires. On arrival at the airport you will be met and transferred to your hotel.

Day 2 – City Sightseeing & Tango Show. This morning enjoy a scheduled tour of this impressive city, discover the cobbled streets and brightly painted houses of La Boca and the grand architecture in Plaza de Mayo. Continue to the exclusive neighbourhood of Recoleta with its tree-lined avenues, fashionable restaurants, cafés, boutiques and not forgetting the famous cemetery that holds Evita’s shrine. In the evening enjoy fine cuisine and a superb, authentic presentation of the tango. (B, D)

Day 3 – Day at leisure. Today is free to explore this fabulous city. Alternatively, spend the day on a typical Argentine ranch in the ‘pampas’, a vast area scattered with many cattle ranches and colonial style mansions. Enjoy a short horse ride and indulge in a delicious mouth-watering Argentine barbecue with typical folk music and dancing. (B)

Day 4 – Depart Buenos Aires. Transfer from your hotel to the airport for your onward flight. (B)
